Free/PWYC series for children and families

This year I was presented the Key to the City in Burlington, after being inducted into the Burlington Performing Arts Centre Hall of Fame, and have been awarded Burlington’s Best Local Musician.

To give back to our local community, I have created a new Free/PWYC series for children and families at Burlington Performing Arts Centre (BPAC).  These are tough economic times, with so much economic uncertainty, so the goal is to remove all financial barriers to attending concerts, and engage families in three different programs in the fall. Thanks so much to BPAC and the Burlington Arts & Culture Fund through the City of Burlington for their generous support of this project. Kids sing along and can join the band on stage playing percussion instruments from around the world!

Sept 28 – Fiddlefire! (exploring various world and jazz musical styles)

Nov 16 – Earth, Seas & Air – Also an album release with “Little Leaf”- (celebrating and nourishing our natural environment)

Dec 13 – Celebrate! (Celebrating many holidays observed here in Burlington and beyond)
